
Russia: Stabbing suspect says radio host was 'sexually tormenting me via telepathy'
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs released footage of the interrogation of a man suspected of stabbing Echo of Moscow's show host Tatiana Felgengauer in the throat, in Moscow on Monday.The footage shows the suspect, who identified himself as Boris Grez, being questioned about his motivations for carrying out the alleged attack on the journalist. According to Grez, the two had known each other "before via telepathy for five years, since 2012."The suspect went on to allege that Felgengauer had been "stalking" and "sexually harassing" him remotely. "Each night, she was getting [into my head] and sexually tormenting me via telepathy," he stated.Earlier in the day, the suspect, armed with a knife, forced his way into Echo of Moscow's radio station studio and stabbed Felgengauer in the throat. Felgengauer is reported to be in a serious but stable condition. A police investigation has been launched.
