Ukraine: Shield wall protects protesters setting up camp outside parliament

Anti-government protesters erected tents outside the Ukrainian parliament (Rada) on Tuesday, demanding an end to Ukrainian lawmakers' current immunity from prosecution.

The demonstrators built the camp while being protected from police by another group of protesters who set up a shield wall.

The initial demonstration, called for by former Georgian president and Governor of Odessa Mikheil Saakashvili, saw protesters railing against alleged government corruption and called for the installment of anti-corruption courts.
