Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Tuesday afternoon, marking 25 years of diplomatic relations and the first ever visit of an Indian premier to Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu greeted the Indian PM with a hug on the landing strip, before stating that is was a 'historic day.'
"It is my singular honour to be the first ever Prime Minister of India to undertake this groundbreaking visit to Israel," said Indian PM.
The Modi's three-day visit will involve extensive bilateral talks involving agricultural cooperation, water, cyber-security and weapons sales.
