
USA: Comey says NYT article 'almost entirely wrong' over Russia investigation

Former FBI chief James Comey stated that a New York Times article titled 'Trump campaign aides have repeated contacts with Russian intelligence', was "almost entirely wrong", when testifying before the US Senate Intelligence Committee, in Washington DC, Thursday.
When Senator of Arkansas Tom Cotton, asked of Comey, "Would it be fair to characterise that story as almost entirely wrong?" Comey responded "yes".
In the same hearing, Comey was asked about whether he knew of any tape recordings of conversations with the President. Comey replied that he was unaware of any such recordings, but that if there were "my feelings aren't hurt" and to "release all the tapes".
Talking about Russia's alleged cyber-intrusion on the presidential elections, the former FBI chief said, "it's not about Republicans or Democrats, they [Russia] are coming after America".
