
France: Putin visits new Russian spiritual and cultural centre in Paris
Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the recently opened Russian spiritual and cultural centre in Paris, Sunday, after meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron earlier in the day.
The centre, which opened in October 2016, spans 4,200 square metres and contains the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity of the Korsun diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. It also hosts a Russian-French primary school, an exhibition centre, a concert hall, and living quarters, among other facilities.
During his tour, the Russian president met with several children who were using the facilities, taking time to listen to them recite poetry.
