
Poland: Russian 'Night Wolves’ biker detained in Myslowice
Polish police detained a member of the Russian 'Night Wolves' after they were required to present their documents to authorities, in the town of Myslowice, Wednesday.
Reportedly the Polish Border Guard deemed that the presence of the member, Nikolai Loginov, was undesirable in Poland for safety reasons. The situation is currently under investigation, however the Polish Border Guard have stated that he will probably have to leave Polish territory.
The group have reported that they believe the detention is unreasonable and hope the situation will be cleared.
The Night Wolves’ stopped in the town to rest overnight during their motorcade to Berlin marking the 72nd anniversary of Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
The motorcade will travel 6,000-kilometres (3,728-miles) to Berlin, ending on May 9 where motorcyclists will carry the Victory banner and lay flowers to the monument of the Soldier-Liberator.
