
Russia: Putin confirms plans to take part in China's 'One Belt, One Road' forum
Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed his intentions to go to Beijing to take part in the international ‘One Belt, One Road’ trade forum during his meeting with first-ranked Vice Premier of China Zhang Gaoli in Moscow, Thursday.
Zhang Gaoli in his turn announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping would pay a return visit to Moscow in July.
The Chinese diplomat also expressed his condolences to "those closest to the deceased" in St. Petersburg metro blast on April 3. He added that China "condemns this act of terrorism" and stated that China, "together with Russia and other members of the world community, will continue to fight against terrorism for the sake of preserving peace and stability throughout the world".
