USA: Michael Flynn's Turkey lobbying activities were 'not known' to Trump - Spicer
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn's newly revealed lobbying activities for Turkey "was not known" to the Trump administration during a White House press briefing in Washington DC, Thursday.
Spicer added that he was not aware of the discussions that took place between the US President and Flynn prior to his appointment. "I know that, from what I have read, he has filed the appropriate forms with the Department of Justice," he said.
Regarding the latest moves by Washington State, Hawaii and New York to challenge Trump's revised travel ban, Spicer reiterated the administration confidence "executive order that was crafted is consistent."
Following a question about former head of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) and Trump enthusiast Nigel Farage to the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange resides, Spicer said he was not "keeping track of what everyone is doing."
