      Syria: 2 killed after shelling of govt-held district of Homs

      At least two people were killed and seven more injured in the city of Homs, Thursday, as militants fired rockets on the government-held al-Zahra neighbourhood.

      The wounded were rushed to the hospital following the attack. Several buildings and a number of cars sustained damage in the attack.

      According to a military media unit run by Syrian government ally Hezbollah, the government forces carried out airstrikes earlier on Thursday in the rebel-held al-Waer district of Homs.
