David Lowes, ‎Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung Electronics (English): "Excuse me sir, would you like to step off the stage please... yes, I think you've made your point, could you put it down? Thank you very much"

A Greenpeace protester was ushered back to his seat at the Samsung Press Conference in on Sunday, after Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung Electronics, David Lowes chivvied him off the stage.

Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung Electronics had been apologising for Samsung not maintaining their high standards at the company's press conference at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, when a Greenpeace protester decided to get onto the stage.

"Excuse me sir, would you like to step off the stage please... yes, I think you've made your point, could you put it down? Thank you very much", said Lowes.

The protester was asking Samsung to recycle their Galaxy Note 7, which was discontinued because it started fires.

The interruption was timed for the Korean company's unveiling of their new Galaxy Tab X3. The new product has improvements on sound, speed of charging and battery life. Other new electronics included the new Galaxy Book which is the thinnest tablet of its class, and a new Gear VR Controller.

The World Mobile Congress will take place from February 27th to March 2nd.
