      UK: One in critical condition as police clear scene of London car crash

      One man remains in critical condition after five were hit by a car on Bromley Road in south-east London, Sunday morning.

      A man driving a Mercedes collided with a wall and the group of people at 08:20 GMT. Paramedics, police and an air ambulance arrived at the scene to assist the injured.

      The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving before being taken to hospital himself.
