
Cuba: People line streets of Bayamo to witness journey of Castro's ashes
Cubans lined the streets of Bayamo, in southeastern Cuba, on Friday evening, to witness the ashes of the country's revolutionary leader Fidel Castro pass through the town en route to their final resting place in Santiago de Cuba.
People waved the Cuban flag and sang the national anthem, La Bayamesa - named after the city of Bayamo, as the ashes passed by.
The event was accompanied by a concert, where a children's choir and Cuban singer Ary Rodriguez performed to a large audience.
