
Germany: Leica showcases first instant camera at Photokina
Renowned German camera maker Leica showcased its first ever instant film camera, the Sofort, at the Photokina trade fair in Cologne, Tuesday.
The Leica Sofort camera is said to be the first instant camera from Leica and the first mirrorless system camera of its kind.
Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at Leica Camera, Michael Roeder, explained that the camera "gives you a lot of options, especially for people who are interested in having a hectic experience in getting a unique picture, share it with others. Unique features as well is the rectangular selfie mirror so you won't have any trouble composing your own selfie pictures and share it with others. A lot of fun."
Photokina takes place from September 20 to 26 in Cologne's trade fair centre.
