At least two protesters were arrested outside Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Centre on the final day of the Democratic National Convention, Thursday, as scores of demonstrators railed against the victory of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Supporters of Bernie Sanders held banners reading "Bernie or bust" and denounced Clinton by chanting slogans. Commenting on the result of the nomination, one protester said, "There is absolutely no unity at all. They are pretending to be united with us and they are lying."

Clinton secured 2,842 delegates during the roll call, with 2,382 votes needed to clinch the nomination, making her the first female Democratic presidential nominee. Around 4,765 Democratic delegates attended the 2016 DNC.
