Germany: Terrorist able to infiltrate Europe through refugee flow - Merkel
German Chancellor Angela Merkel claimed that the flow of refugees from Syria had been used to "smuggle terrorists" into Europe, during a speech in Zingst on Monday.
Merkel commented on the potential security threat caused by the flow of refugees from the Middle East to Europe, saying, "We are noticing, suddenly, that there is a very close connection between us and Syria because there is a number of terrorists who have grown up in Europe, even in Germany, who are then trained up in Syria and then some come back, some will exploit the movement of refugees and will smuggle terrorists through it."
