
France: Les Bleus hit the pitch for training ahead of Euro 2016 semi-final
France's national football team held a training session at the Clairefontaine training centre near Paris, Monday, after knocking Iceland out of the Euro 2016 with a crushing 5-2 victory.
The training session took place in absence of the team's core players, such as Olivier Giroud, Antoine Griezmann or Dimitri Payet as coach Didier Deschamps decided to give them a rest ahead of the upcoming semi-final against World Cup winner Germany. Les Bleus starts Bacary Sagna, Paul Pogba and the team's veteran Patrice Evra were spotted watching the training from the sidelines.
France will play Germany at the Stade de Velodrome in Marseille at 21:00 local time (19:00 GMT) on Thursday.
