Argentina: Thousands of candle-bearing demonstrators protest rising energy costs

An estimated 8,000 people took to the streets of Buenos Aires, on Wednesday night, to protest continued hikes in energy and electricity prices.

Demonstrators were expressing the anger over the increased tariffs introduced by Argentinian President Mauricio Macri's government. People wore blankets and carried candles to demonstrate the focus of the protest on the government's energy policies.
