
Lithuania: 5,000 take part in NATO Iron Wolf drill
Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite attended NATO's Iron Wolf military drills near Svencionys in eastern Lithuania on Thursday, the largest US-organised exercise in the Baltic States.
More than 5,000 troops from Denmark, the United States, Poland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, France and Germany are taking part in the training exercises. Equipment used in the training ranged from the Leopard tanks to US A-10 aircraft and B-52 strategic bombers.
