USA: Argentina and Chile football fans ready for vital Copa game

United States, Santa Clara
June 7, 2016 at 12:47 GMT +00:00 · Published

Scores of football fans flooded Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Monday, ahead of a key match between Argentina and Chile for the Copa America.

Brandishing flags, banners and t-shirts representing their teams, football fans sang chants and made their predictions on who would win the game.

It is still uncertain as to whether Argentina's star player Lionel Messi will take part in the game after he suffered a lower back injury during a friendly against Honduras on May 27.

Last year's Copa America final saw Argentina losing against Chile 4 to 1. Now in it's 45th year, it's the first time that the tournament has taken place outside South America.
