Germany: IS militants treated in Turkish hospitals, trained in refugee camps - HDP leader *EXCLUSIVE* *PARTNER CONTENT*
Co-chair of the Turkish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Figen Yuksekdag said that it is "no secret" that militants from the Islamic State (formerly ISIS, ISIL), are being treated in Turkish hospitals and trained in the country's refugee camps, during an exclusive interview with RT in Ludwigshafen, Sunday.
Yuksekdag stressed that IS militants regularly cross the border from Syria to Turkey: "yesterday, one IS militant died in a Turkish hospital. [...] The press published this. This information is not secret", she said. The politician elaborated, "we know that refugee camps in Turkey were used as IS camps or headquarters."
Yuksekdag concluded that Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan's government is part of a coalition, along with Qatar and Saudi Arabia, intent on "sustaining the war in Syria". She warned, "there is no time to extend this situation,"and that "it is important to stand against this coalition."
