Austria: Hundreds hold torchlit march against arms trade in Vienna
Hundreds marched through Vienna on Saturday night, denouncing Austria's involvement in the international arms trade.
Protesters carried torches and chanted pro-refugee slogans, as they marched through the city. "The exports of the arms industry are increasing, and so are their profits. We don’t like that, and this is why we are demonstrating today" said one of the protest's organisers Marina Hanke.
Organised by the youth branch of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPO), the demonstration is being held annually on May 1.
