
South Korea: US and South Korean jets participate in joint drills
The US and South Korea's joint Max Thunder drills were ongoing as shown by footage filmed on Wednesday at the Kunsan Air Base in South Korea. US and South Korean fighter jets can be seen participating in the bilateral training exercise.
About 1,200 US and 640 South Korean military personnel are taking part in the drills which are scheduled to last for two weeks. A number of different fighter jets are taking part in the drills including F-16 Fighting Falcons, F-18 Hornets and EA-18G Growlers.
The exercise that takes place annually kicked off on April 15 and will run until April 29.
