USA: Donald Trump confuses '9/11' with '7/11' ahead of NY primary
US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump mistakenly referred to the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre as "7/11" during a rally in Buffalo, Monday.
Speaking at the First Niagara Centre, Trump told his fans that he saw "the greatest people I've ever seen in action" at the World Trade Centre on 7/11. Trump appears to have confused '9/11' with 7-Eleven, the international chain of convenience stores found across the US and the world.
The rally took place on the eve of the New York Republican primary. During the rally, several protesters were dragged out by security as Trump supporters applauded.
