Greece: Idomeni refugees moved to new site near Katerini

Refugees began boarding buses in Idomeni on Tuesday in order to be transported to a new site near the city of Katerini, as Greek officials attempt to break up the refugee camp at the Macedonian border.

The refugees were transported by courtesy of the German aid organisation Liberation of Christian and Yazidi Children of Iraq (CYCI) late on Tuesday.

Just over 11,000 refugees currently reside in Idomeni camp on the Greek-Macedonian border, with authorities announcing plans to dissolve the site as soon as possible.
