Russia: Drone catches car-flashmob making map of Earth for Cosmonautics Day

Drone footage filmed on Tuesday shows around 120 cars creating a symbolic map of the Earth in the city of Chelyabinsk as a part of a series of events devoted to the celebration of the 55th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's historic trip to space, now celebrated as Cosmonautics Day.

The flash mob was organised by Automobile Club of Students at the central square of the city and attracted several hundred locals. The footage shows two hemispheres of the planet and the continents made-up of vehicles.

Cosmonautics Day, which is celebrated on April 12, marks the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first man to travel to outer space, completing a flight around the earth on the same day in 1961.
