Hundreds of refugees held a sit-in protest at Idomeni train station, Tuesday, in protest at their lack of access to resources. Protesters, many of whom were children, held signs reading "We love Germany" and "We are dying here, help us."

Earlier on Tuesday two men set fire to themselves in protest at the closed Greek-Macedonian border. People nearby rushed to put out the flames; however both men suffered burns and were subsequently hospitalised.

Around 14,000 refugees remain stranded in Idomeni, with Doctors Without Borders having warned that the health of the refugees has worsened since Macedonian authorities closed the country's borders with Greece.
