Greece: Scuffles break out as refugees protest closed border in Idomeni
Scuffles broke out between rival groups of refugees in Idomeni when one group attempted to break police lines on the Greek-Macedonian border, Saturday. A rival group protected the border, not wanting to break the laws of Greece or Macedonia.
Around 14,000 refugees remain stranded at the camp near Idomeni and Doctors Without Borders have warned that the health of the refugees at the makeshift refugee camp is worsening.
Macedonia has closed its border to refugees and migrants, leading to their gathering at sites in northern Greece.
