
Turkey: Ukrainian warship arrives to pick up military equipment
The Ukrainian battleship "Getman Sagaydacny" with the "U310" hull number pulled in to Saraybosna Harbour in Istanbul on Thursday. The battleship entered waters near to Istanbul from the Marmara Sea at 05:30 GMT.
Turkey is providing Ukraine with $810,000 (€738,000) worth of military uniforms and equipment including bulletproof vests, sleeping bags and blankets.
The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers and the Turkish government approved the deal known as 'Order 140' at the beginning of March, with confirmation being officially published on March 2.
