USA: Multiple protesters disrupt Trump rally in North Carolina
Multiple protesters attempted to disrupt Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump during a rally at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Wednesday, ahead of the North Carolina state primary on March 15.
Throughout the rally, multiple protesters were handcuffed and escorted out of the arena and scuffles broke out between protesters and Trump supporters, who snatched away protest signs from those disrupting the rally.
During the rally, Trump challenged recent accusations made on the 'Today Show' which compared him to "Hitler" and claimed that one of his recent rallies was reminiscent of a "Nazi" gathering.
Trump made further gains against his Republican rivals on Tuesday, securing comfortable primary wins in Michigan, Mississippi and Hawaii.
