Ukraine: Far-right Azov members besiege Inter TV HQ in Kiev
Dozens of members of the 'Azov' battalion rallied in front of Kiev's Inter TV station HQ on Thursday, blocking the entrance and preventing the broadcaster's employees from entering.
The activists accused the broadcaster of spreading Kremlin propaganda, demanding the channel's management to resign. The Azov supporters vandalised the building's walls with slogans including "Inter is the Kremlin's mouthpiece" and "Stop Inter".
Earlier the Ukrainian Council on TV and Radio Broadcasting conducted an unscheduled inspection of the TV station for covering performances by Russian artists. Reports claimed the broadcaster's employees erected barricades inside the building in order to prevent a seizure of the premises.
