Russia: Tributes placed outside Ukrainian embassy for Maidan coup victims
Dozens of people gathered outside the Ukrainian embassy in Moscow, Sunday, to pay tribute to the victims of the Maidan coup.
Mourners placed flowers and candles in front of the embassy to honour those who died during the violence two years ago.
The Euromaidan protests began on November 21, 2013, and escalated on November 30, leading to the removal from power of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. More than 100 people, later dubbed the 'Heavenly Hundred,' are believed to have died during violence in Kiev between February 19-21, 2014.
