Poland: Anti-US protest in Krakow blames America for refugee crisis
An anti-US demonstration took place in front of the U.S. Consulate building in Krakow, Wednesday.
About 100 participants marched from the consulate to the main square and back to the consulate during the protest. The protesters denounced US policies, particularly in regard to Kosovo and Serbia.
One of the protesters stated his belief that the current refugee and migrant crisis was caused by the United States' intervention in Middle East matters, saying: "at the moment we face an immigration crisis in Europe which is obviously due to the fact that the United States interfered in the politics of countries in the Middle East."
The US consulate had warned American citizens in Poland of the protest on its website, saying it might get violent.
