China: Blatter honoured with shrine in Shandong's $25 million football museum

Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter was honoured in the $24.4 million (‎‎€22.5 million) Chinese National Football Museum in Linzi, Shandong province on Friday.

The football museum contains shrines, statues, memorabilia and quotes from Blatter, including his well renowned claim that football originated in China with the ancient Chinese game called 'Cuju.'

The Linzi National Football Museum also features 11,700 square metres of exhibits documenting the development of the Cuju game in China, which is considered to be an ancient predecessor of modern football.
