USA: Audi presents H-Tron and A4 Allroad Quattro concept cars
German car manufaturer Audi unveileled its two latest models, the A4 Allroad Auattro and H-Tron Quattro concept cars, at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Monday.
Both models are equipped with newly developed video camera, laser scanner and ultrasonic sensors.
The Audi H-Tron Quattro uses hydrogen fuel cells to deliver energy to a pair of electric motors and according to company representatives, can run around 598 kilometres (372 miles) on a single tank of hydrogen which is significantly more than many all-electric cars. It would take a customer an estimated four minutes to fill up.
The Audi A4 Allroad Quattro "combines high-riding driving comfort with off-road qualities," as Audid describes it, adding that the new A4 engine is significantly more efficient than before, with reduced emissions.
