Queen Rania of Jordan also known as Rania Al-Abdullah was greeted by the British Prime Minister David Cameron on Friday at the PM's residence, number 10 Downing Street in London.

There was a large police presence as Queen Rania arrived at the doorstep of number 10 to be greeted by Cameron.

After marrying the King of Jordan, Abdullah bin Al-Hussein, Queen Rania has gathered widespread attention for her advocacy work in the fields of health, youth and education across Jordan.

Her visit to the United Kingdom has been described as unofficial with the actual reason remaining undisclosed.
