
Turkey: Feleknas Uca condemns state media censorship, thanks 'free media members'
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) representative and member of the Turkish parliament Feleknas Uca condemned the Turkish government's censorship and state media from Diyarbakir in an exclusive interview with RT that was released on Monday.
"There is a big time [media] censorship and state media in Turkey. TV stations are not reflecting the whole stories here because they [government officials] arrest all the independent journalists. There is an AKP media; no one can talk about the massacres going on here. Why? Because the government doesn't want these things to be seen," she said.
She went on to praise "free media members" who have shared images of "massacres" that have taken place in Cizre, Sur, Silopi.
