Russia: 'Kill-ISIS' website-creators prepare Christmas message for pilots in Syria
Activists and creators of a 'Kill IGIL' website ('Kill ISIS' in Russian) showed their support for Russian pilots involved in the Syrian operation in Moscow, Sunday, by preparing a Christmas ball with messages of support for the fighting pilots in Syria from members of the Russian public.
The activists gathered in the centre of Moscow collecting messages from the public including children, who wrote New Years wishes and words of support for the pilots on a Christmas ball, which the activists hope to deliver to the Russian soldiers at the Hmeymim Airbase in Latakia, Syria.
Earlier, activists launched the 'Kill IGIL' (Kill ISIS) website, which has become popular with users online. The website allows users to play the role of a Russian Air Force pilot fighting against the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). The website not only allows players to attack IS militants but also militants allegedly backed by US President Barack Obama.
