
Israel: Three wounded by stabbing attack and Israeli gunfire in Jerusalem
Three Israelis were wounded after a knife attack carried out by two Palestinians and subsequent gunfire from Israeli forces, outside of Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, Wednesday.
The two attackers were shot dead by Israeli security forces who arrived at the scene. Two of the Israelis were wounded seriously, and a third critically, after being struck by gunfire from Israeli security forces, according to bystanders.
The latest wave of violence in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, which erupted in mid-September, has killed at least 106 Palestinians and 19 Israelis.
