
Russia: Putin meets Kyrgyz counterpart Atambayev in Moscow
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the President Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev in Moscow on Monday.
The leaders met to discuss the realisation of bilateral agreements on the sidelines of the meeting of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which also includes Kazakhstan, Armenia and Belarus.
President Vladimir Putin said that “the times are tough now” adding that “this is what makes us more intensively exchange opinions on how to deal with difficult situations.”
Atambayev thanked Putin and said that he is also “very happy to have this opportunity to meet with you once again”.
