Belgium: Russian sanctions to be assessed with regard to Minsk protocol - FM Gentiloni

Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Paolo Gentiloni said that the decision on the reassessment on the sanctions on Russia should be taken according the implementation of the Minsk protocol, speaking from Brussels, Monday.

Gentiloni said that "nobody is against or for sanctions, it is not a matter of principle, we all say that the decision on the role over on sanctions should be taken according to the assessment of the Minsk protocol implementation and this I think is what the European council will do and I am sure that we will have a common decision."
