Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the house of the right-wing and Eurosceptic Law and Justice party (PiS) leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, in Warsaw, Sunday.

The protesters used to organise a vigil outside the house to commemorate the anniversary of the crackdown on the anti-communist opposition, unleashed with the imposition of martial law on 13 December, 1981 by the last leader of the People's Republic of Poland, Wojciech Jaruzelski.

A counter-protest by dozens of the PiS supporters was also staged and ended peacefully with no incidents to report.
