Estonia: Suspected IS supporters deny charges they funded 'terrorist' activity
Two men suspected of supporting the so-called Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL) denied charges they had aided a friend to fight alongside the militant organisation in Syria, during a court hearing in Tallinn on Saturday.
Ramil Khalilov and Roman Manko were detained by police in April after prompting suspicion that they were providing financial help to the man. The two stand accused of transferring money to a friend who had been fighting with the group in Syria since 2013. Investigators also accuse Khalilov of carrying out recruitment for IS, a charge he denies.
The case is set to continue.
