France: Muslims, Jews, Christians unite against extremism

Muslims, Jews and Christians took to the streets of Bordeaux, Friday, to rally against extremism and show solidarity for the victims of last week's attacks in Paris, Friday.

Local representatives from the Catholic, Hebrew and Muslim communities marched through the streets before gathering at the Muslim Federation where they gave speeches condemning the terrorist attacks. Police presence was very strong securing the surrounding area.

130 people were killed and more than 352 left injured, 99 critically, after a series of coordinated attacks were carried out at six different locations across Paris last Friday evening. At least 87 of those victims were killed after gunmen opened fire during a concert at the Bataclan theatre, taking dozens hostage before detonating suicide bombs.
