France: Street artist Fred le Chevalier pays tribute to victims of Paris attacks
Respected French street artist Fred le Chevalier discussed his most recent murals, paying tribute to the victims of the Paris attacks, whilst speaking in the French capital, Friday. Le Chevalier has created two murals close to the 'Le Carillon' restaurant, the scene of one of last Friday's attacks.
A resident of the area, Le Chevalier was visiting his hometown during the attacks. Discussing his latest pieces, the street artist said: "I will do a collage because it is life. Going on with life, doing stuff that procure good feelings and I said to myself that we all need to do positive things."
"I can't stay in front of the TV and watch videos about terrorists and killer's faces. It's like holding a hammer and hitting our hands with it. So we must continue living. I have the desire to say that to continue living is to make people smiling," he added.
