
Poland: Anti-terror exercises staged in Warsaw
Polish security officials staged counter-terror exercises in Warsaw early on Thursday morning, days after a series of co-ordinated attacks killed 132 people in Paris. The exercises, named Patrol-15, tested response measures against biological and chemical contamination by simulating a terrorist attack in one of the city's subway stations.
More than 200 staff from the army, fire brigade, sanitary and epidemiological service and emergency response units were deployed for the drills which were held at the National Stadium subway station.
The drills were organised by by the Vistula Border Guard Unit and the Main Border Guard Training Center.
