State of Palestine: More than 30 injured in Bethlehem clashes
More than 30 people were injured after violent clashes erupted in Bethlehem, Monday. Israeli troops fired tear gas at Palestinian demonstrators, who responded by throwing rocks and setting fires in the street.
Two Palestinians were killed earlier on Monday after Israeli forces stormed the Qalandia refugee camp near Jerusalem. Israeli troops stormed the camp in order to carry out the demolition of the home of Muhammed Abu Shaheen, who is accused of shooting dead a Israeli settler this summer.
Since the beginning of October, at least 77 Palestinians have been killed in shootings and clashes with Israeli forces in the occupied Palestinian territories and Israel, while 10 Israelis have been killed in knife and gun attacks.
