The YouStink and Al-Jabal protest movements organised a candle sit-in in the Bourj al-Barajneh area of Beirut, Friday, to remember the victims Thursday's twin suicide bombs blasts.

Dozens of people participated in the candle-lit sit-in, with mourners placing tea-lights next to the site of the first bomb blast.

Shortly before 18.00 local time (16.00 GMT) on Thursday two powerful explosions went off in the Shiite majority neighbourhood of Bourj al-Barajneh, killing at least 43 people and injuring more than 240. One explosion took place outside a mosque and the other outside a shopping mall. Militants from the so-called Islamic State (IS, ISIS, ISIL) have claimed responsibility for the attack.
