
Turkey: Man allegedly shoots himself in head outside Erdogan's home
A 20-year-old man was hospitalised in Ankara, Monday, after he reportedly shot at police guarding the residence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan before allegedly shooting himself in the head.
Turkish media has reported that the man was arguing with police outside the Turkish President's Ankara residence when he snatched a gun from one of the guards and began firing at police before shooting himself.
Reports suggested that the man had asked to enter Erdogan's home. The man is currently in life-threatening condition, according to Turkish media reports. No police officers were hurt in the incident.
