The frontman of the American nu-metal group Limp Bizkit Fred Durst said that the group would like to perform in Ukraine, but "I think it's too sensitive," during an interview in Moscow, Sunday.

Durst stated "we're trying to keep what we do as something personal and entertainment and pleasurable and we're not trying to get involved with different conflicts in different places," adding that "right now, it's just a little too sensitive of an issue."

The Limp Bizkit frontman also commented on the portrayal of Russia in mainstream US media, saying that "I would hope a lot of Americans who I can communicate with will be able to see what I see and understand and know about being in Russia and being around Russian people," adding that "it's not all like the news has created."

Fred Durst is currently on a 20 city, month long tour of Russia with his group Limp Bizkit. The Russian leg of the tour will run from October 31 to November 27, including performances in Moscow on November 1 and 2, 2015.
