Belgium: PM Orban wants end to Schengen's open border policy today
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said he hopes that the open border policy of the Schengen Agreement will come to an end today at the meeting on the refugee situation in the Western Balkans at a press conference in Brussels on Sunday.
"So I hope this afternoon we will put an end to the open border policy which is totally against [the] Schengen Treaty, we will put an end to the invitation policy which is against the international agreement of Schengen," said Orban.
He also expressed his belief that members of the Schengen zone are now ready to keep their words, having accused them of not being able to do so in the past.
